Sao Miguel Azores Half Day Whale Watching Trip

Ponta Delgada is the capital city of Sao Miguel, and only a short boat ride from one of the most magnificent places to witness the brilliance of Whales and Dolphins.

You have a choice between a large boat, or for the more adventurous, a small speed boat to really get up close and personal with the wildlife.

We opted for the speedboat option, and was it ever a thrill. We were lucky to see TWO Sperm Whales, and literally hundreds of Common and Spotted Dolphins.
