She was driven by an unwavering inquisitiveness and spent her days wandering from adventure to adventure in the boundless sea.
 
One fateful day, her insatiable wanderlust led her into the path of a fierce storm. The turbulent waves tossed her about, and despite her best efforts, she found herself helplessly carried away by the tempestuous currents.
 
And then, as if guided by some mystical force, she washed ashore the paradisiacal São Miguel Island. Weak and disoriented, she was discovered by a group of locals who had been captivated by her ethereal beauty and enigmatic presence.
 
The Michaelense people shared with her their deep love and commitment to the sustainability of their beautiful homeland and showed her how they maintained the delicate balance between human existence and the nurturing embrace of nature.
 
Moved by the wisdom and harmony she found among the Michaelense, the Vagabond Mermaid vowed to repay their kindness and love by dedicating herself to their cause.
She opened a Guesthouse on the island and began to welcome travelers from all over the world who shared her adoration of exploration and adventure. She worked with the local people to share the beauty, history, and culture of the Azores Islands with all who stayed in her Guesthouse.
 
She left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path. Her guests and the locals alike were inspired by her kind heart and her unwavering commitment to ensuring the well-being of all she came across.
